First, connect your Trezor to your computer using the provided USB cable. You’ll be prompted to install Trezor Suite, the official interface for managing your wallet. Once installed, you’ll initialize the wallet by creating a new wallet or restoring an old one with your recovery seed.
During setup, Trezor will generate a 12- or 24-word recovery seed. This seed is your lifeline—write it down and store it securely offline. Never share it online or take a photo. If your Trezor is lost or damaged, the recovery seed is your only way to restore access to your funds.
You’ll then create a PIN to prevent unauthorized access. With your Trezor set up, you can send, receive, and manage cryptocurrencies securely.
Remember, the device doesn’t store your coins—it stores your keys. The coins remain on the blockchain, accessible only through your Trezor.
Setting up a Trezor hardware wallet is straightforward and beginner-friendly. To start, visit and follow the step-by-step instructions.
